Welcome to my latest (and last) project. This project is designed to be online and visible (to authorized users) for at least 20 years after I start pushing up daisies. My reasoning is simple. I believe there is a good chance that Republicans (if they don’t win re-election), will not abide by the unwritten rule of a “Peaceful Transition of Power”. My worst fear is that my story will disappear and my future great-grandchildren will not get a chance to hear what my parents and grandparents went through.
Let me explain by sharing a little history. I was born in 1943 during WWII (in a Japanese-American Concentration Camp). Towards the end of the war, my parents and I were given an early release. We were given $25 each, and a bus ride to Denver to resettle and look for work. Denver didn’t work out very well so we moved back to my grandpa’s place in Seattle, WA. Life was tough for the Japanese-American community after the war. There was a tremendous amount of prejudice. I was too young to understand what was going on, but I still remember my Chinese-American schoolmates wearing badges that read “I am Chinese not Japanese”.
Now, fast forward to 2026… We find that our Federal Administration is woefully dysfuntional. Our President starts talking about a war with Venezuela, Columbia, Cuba, Greenland, etc. This causes his popularity polls to sink, so he doubles down and starts a war with Iran. Then, (after he has killed Iran’s Supreme Leader), he tells the Iranian people “A whole civilization will die tonight never to be brought back again”. As a result, we are closer to World War III than we have been in over 70 years. In addition, our economy is in shambles, Federal ICE agents are killing people in the streets, and affordability has escaped everybody but the Super-Rich. To top everything else off, “the richest person in the USA (Elon Musk), has facilitated taking money out of the pockets of the poorest people in the WORLD while he was working for President Trump’s Administration.
Consequently, I feel I have to delay the launch of this website until after the November-2026 Midterm elections. Up to this point in my business life, my attitude has always been to remain politically neutral. But my Red Line was crossed when ICE started buying up warehouses across our country to turn into Concentration Camps. We, (as American Citizens) CANNOT let this happen.
